Day 2: Our Jungle Camp to Khao Sok National Park Camp Site
Wake up to the sounds of nature and make sure to keep an eye out for the macaque monkeys playing on the riverbank early in the morning. After breakfast you can either enjoy your time at leisure at the resort, explore Khao Sok Town or embark on a 2 hour relaxed canoe cruise along the Sok River that departs at 9:00, which includes a memorable coffee break on one of the many sandbanks.
After lunch (noon), meet your guide, hop on a local “songteaw” and depart towards the less frequented KM 99 Trail. The Trail itself is rated as a medium intensity hike and the journey to the camping site for the overnight is around 6-7 km (2-3 hour) in total, during which you will forage parts of your dinner ingredients and potentially come across tracks and glimpses of the pristine wildlife Khao Sok National Park has to offer.
Upon arrival at the spot for the night, your guide will teach you how to setup Camp for an overnight in the jungle, from rigging up your hammock and rain-sheet to starting a fire and crafting dishes and cooking utensils from the greatly available wood and bamboo. You will be all set for sunset, when the forest really becomes alive. You will be amazed what your guide has planned for your jungle dinner cooked in bamboo over the open fire, truly an experience to be remembered. After such an interesting and exhausting day, you will turn in early for the night."

You will gather your belongings and only leave your footprints to continue your hike towards the famous Cheow Lan Lake where you will arrive at the water’s edge after the last 1000-meter walk.
Your private long tail boat will be waiting for you to transfer you to Kraison rafthouse or similar. On the way keep an eye out for monkeys and other wildlife who use the morning cool to replenish themselves on the lake's freshwater. You will arrive at the floating raft house at around 10:00 with sufficient time to swim, shower and canoe before lunch is served at around noon.
