Day 2: Mae Sot to Umphang
We'll pick you up when you arrive in Mae Sot, and you'll have the opportunity to sleep at a simple hotel for a couple of hours. After breakfast, you’ll take a short ride to the Thai-Burmese border market at the river Moi. After lunch, you can leave some of your belongings in Mae Sot and then you'll travel by songthaew to Umphang. It is a beautiful 5-hour ride up the mountains with more than 1,000 turns in the road. You’ll spend the night in a basic hut or house.

Day 3: Umphang
After breakfast, the easy rafting takes you on the narrow Mae Klong River through the jungle. After a couple of hours, we’ll stop our rafts at the riverside and board a songthaew to our campsite. We’ll walk to the impressive Tee Lor Su, Southeast Asia’s largest waterfall. Bring a towel and swimsuit so you can take a refreshing swim and, if the water level permits, cliff jump from the top of the waterfall. We’ll return to the campsite, where you and your guides will pitch tents and prepare dinner.

Please note that, depending on the National Park’s authorities, you may trek for three or four hours to the campsite instead of traveling by songthaew. If that is the case, you will visit Tee Lor Su on the following day.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary in a Tent

Day 4: Umphang
After breakfast, you will trek through bamboo forests, cross bridges, and walk through dense jungle to the Karen village of Ko Tha where you’ll have lunch. In the afternoon, depending on the water level, you will trek to another waterfall near the village and then return to spend the night in a traditional Karen house.

Please note that, depending on the National Park’s authorities, you may instead visit Thee Lor Su in the morning before your trek to the Karen village. If you do so, you will likely not have time to trek to the nearby waterfall.

Day 5: Umphang to Mae Sot
Wake up to a jungle breakfast.
