Itinerary
We'll begin around sunrise when the air is fresh. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the early morning so you can see the city waking up. Street sweepers are doing their calm work on the street, street food vendors are getting ready to serve breakfast to people passing, motorbike taxi drivers are waiting for the first customer. If you haven't had breakfast at your hotel yet, we will stop at a food stall to fill your empty stomach with a delicious dish. Entertain yourself in the park, listening to beautiful bird song while sipping famous Saigon coffee.
Onto the biggest flower market in Saigon where the flower shops are lined up along the street in front of homes. The alley between the flower stalls is narrow, just wide enough for scooters and motorbikes to pass. We continue by weaving through the main roads. It's time to see the crazy traffic with people hurrying to reach their workplaces and universities.
Your driver will take you through the back alleys of Saigon, including unique alleys with graffiti, as well as the well-known streets of Saigon; painting streets, old books’ streets, fashion streets. Driving through the narrow streets you will see people getting ready for the day ahead, sitting at small drinking stalls or in front of their houses on plastic chairs while they drink coffee, read newspapers and chat with their neighbors. This is how most people spend their morning in Saigon.
You’ll stroll through a local wet market where you can see people selling and buying products and interacting with each other. You’re free to ask about any unusual thing you see. Taste samples of delicious street food: rice noodle soup, Vietnamese pancakes, soup cake, sweet soups, coconut jelly, mixed rice paper salad and enjoy some drinks like sugar cane juice or coconut water. Your guide will tell you stories about the food and how to make it, bargain with the sellers, and take some delicious fruit along with you. Ask your guide to help you if you want to buy something to bring home for your family and friends!
Your last stop will be a special self-service café with an ancient design, hundreds of multicolored windows, and rows of green trees that ease Saigon’s intense summer heat. You'll be back at your hotel before lunch to continue your day.
