Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi to Ha Giang Town
You will be picked up by car or van in the early evening at your hotel in Hanoi and taken to My Dinh Bus Station to board your night bus to Ha Giang. Try to rest because the next few days will be action-packed!

Day 2: Ha Giang Town to Quan Ba Village
You will arrive in Ha Giang in the very early morning and we'll will pick you up with a car or van and take you to your hotel for a few quick hours or sleep and to freshen up before your day starts. Today we'll drive around 80 km. through breathtaking mountain scenery and pass through local farms and villages. We will follow the “Cu Vuong” road, which was the horse road used by a H’mong King a long time ago. We'll stop for the Can Ty wall to have a view of the Mien river among the limestone mountains. We'll continue through Bac Sum slop and reach Quan Ba sky gate and Quan Ba Twin mountain. We'll eat lunch at our homestay in Nam Dam and then walk around Nam Dam village and visit the Dao museum.

Day 3: Nam Dam Village to Dong Van Village
Good morning! Start your day with a local breakfast of “Banh Cuon” (rice stuffed pancake) which is famous in Dong Van. Today we continue our amazing trip through Ha Giang. You will encounter many different ethnic groups along the way today. Your station guide, who is from Ha Giang, will be able to help communicate with some of these diverse ethnic groups. We'll visit the legendary Tham Ma slope. After that, we will pass through Pho Cao village and have lunch there. In the afternoon, we will visit Sung La, a movie-setting scene, and then Lao Xa ancient village. We will also meet some skillful local artists who make silver in the village. You will have lunch at an ancient house in Lao Xa before a visit to H’mong King Palace. Arrive in Dong Van and enjoy a locally prepared meal with your host family and friends.
At your discretion, our guide can bring you to the local cafe where you can enjoy the traditional music of the Lo, Giay, and H’mong people. Or make the trek up to Pu Lo fortress which was built in 1890 and evacuated in 1945. From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire region. If we're lucky, we will see the sunset there.

Day 4 - Dong Van Village to Du Gia Village
Today we will experience lots of the authentic local lifestyle as we will go through the Dong Van Local Market, and then stop for a handicraft village to learn about how people make clothes from hemp. There will be plenty of opportunities along the way to stop for photo opportunities as well. Next, we'll visit Ma Pi Leng pass, top at the viewpoint for a breathtaking scene of the Nho Que river down in the Tu San Valley. After that, we will join a bamboo raft trip on the beautiful water exploring Tham Lin cave. Besides, we will have a chance to stand up paddle (SUP) or swim at the streams or walk on Tham Lin cave. We will have lunch there.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at the village of Du Gia. The mountain passes are impressive, perhaps even more so than around Dong Van. In some areas you can see many rice terraces that turn golden yellow during the rice season. Along the way you will find a ruin of a French watchtower from the colonial era. Expect to give a lot of high fives to the kids along the way who greet you kindly.

Day 5 - Du Gia to Ha Giang Town
In the morning, we will drive to Tham Luong waterfall which is about 5 kilometers from our homestay. On the way, you will pass through old, traditional houses surrounded by rice fields and magnificent hills. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks. After that we will make our way back to Ha Giang town. Today is another day of incredible views and meeting beautiful people. Once we're back in Ha Giang Town, you will be escorted to the bus station in the evening for your trip on the night bus back to Hanoi.

Day 6 - Hanoi
You will arrive in Hanoi in the very early morning at Hanoi My Dinh Station. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
