Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Be ready at Go Beyond Nepal Office located next to Kathmandu Guest House, in Thamel before 6:30 am. We’ll start our journey early in the morning from Kathmandu and make our way along river valleys, passing by terraced fields to the naturally beautiful Pokhara which takes about 7 hours.
Explore the beauty of Phewa Lake or walk around and relax along the lake side.
Transportation: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Public Bus
Accommodation: Overnight at Budget Hotel in Pokhara
Day 2: Pokhara to Yanjakot (trekking time 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, we’ll take a short drive for about an hour passing by small town and village. We’ll start our walk along on the trial of off road track, then we continue walking through beautiful forest and head down to Madi River. After crossing the bridge over Medi River, we have to climp steep uphill to Yanjakot which is a typical Gurung Village with mountain views.

Day 3: Yanjakot to Tangting (trekking time 4-5 hours)
We'll start walking downhill, passing through villages and forest until we reach Chasu and from there, we have to climb up to Tangting Village. Passing by a few suspenstion bridges, villages and terraced feilds on the way. There will also be 10 - 15 minutes of walking steep uphill until you reach Tanting Village of Gurung. This charming village offers magnificent views over Mount Annuparna and the Fishtail Range.

Day 4: Tangting Trek to Siklish
Follow the gradual and steep downhill trail to the Medi River, crossing the river again over the suspension bridge. Then we have to climb steep uphill through terraced fields and meadows to get to Siklish. Siklish is a Gurung village set against the stunning snowy peaks of Himalayas and Gurung people are famous for having been recruited as Gurkha soldiers and maintain a unique identity.

Day 5: Siklish
Today, we will be exploring the Siklish Village and its surrounding. We will be hiking to Rishi Danda, where there's perfect view point to get the excellent perspective of mountains and then we'll go visit the local village and its museum.

Day 6: Siklish to Pokhara
Today, we will take the Jeep and drive on the off-road passing by a few villages back to Pokhara (about 4-5 hours drive). Once arriving back to Pokhara, you can go explore the city on your own or continue to your next destination.
