Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara (Driving time 7 - 8 hours)
The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal’s adventure capital, passing through lush hills, terraced fields, and winding river valleys. As we approach Pokhara, the towering peaks of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri come into view, setting the tone for the trek ahead. Pokhara is not only a gateway to the Himalayas but also a cultural hub, home to sacred sites like Tal Barahi Temple, Bindhyabasini Temple, and the World Peace Pagoda.
Transportation: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus
Accommodation: Budget Hotel Pokhara in a Standard Room
Day 2: Pokhara to Pritam Deurali (2100m, trekking time 5-6 hours)
A 1 hour drive takes us to Kande, the starting point of the trek. The trek begins with uphill climb to Australian Camp, a scenic spot offering mesmerizing views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri (on clear days). Take a break and enjoy, the trail now gradually descends to Pothana, followed by a forest walk. A slight uphill climb leads to Pritam Deurali, where we rest for the night.

Day 3: Pritam Deurali (2100m) to Forest Camp (2550m, trekking time 5-6 hours)
The day starts with a walk along the flat land followed by a gradual ascent through dense forests, reaching Lovely Hill, a ridge that provides occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks. The trail then leads upwards to Pokhari which is followed by gradual steep and downhill section through dense forest to our overnight place situated middle of forest at forest camp. This stretch of the trek is dominated by rhododendron forests, which hold great ecological and cultural significance in Nepal.

Day 4: Forest Camp (2550m) to Badal Danda (3300m, trekking time 5-6 hours)
The day begins with a steep uphill climb to Rest Camp, followed by another ascent to Low Camp through forest and wood. Now the tall trees start to disappear, and snowcapped Mountain unfolds in front. The final stretch steep climb leads to Badal Danda, a spectacular vantage point. The name "Badal Danda" translates to "Cloud Hill", and it often provides trekkers with an awe-inspiring experience of walking above the clouds. This is an ideal location to witness sunset and sunrise views over the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks.

Day 5: Badal Danda (3300m) to High Camp (3550m, Trekking time 3-4 Hours)
After breakfast, the trail continues with gradual flat and gradual ascents along the carpeted ridge and slops with stunning view of Annapurna range. As you reach high camp Mount Machhapuchere, which remains unclimbed due to its religious significance is close enough to touch and Mount Annapurna south seems to be at stone throw away. Use rest of your day enjoying spectacular view and for acclimatization.

Day 6: High Camp (3550m) to View point (4200m) to Low Camp (2970m, Trekking time 5-6 Hours)
The day’s journey begins in the pre-dawn hours, with a challenging yet rewarding ascent from High Camp (3,550m) to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4200m). As the first light of day illuminates the towering peaks of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli, trekkers are treated to a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. The trail consists of rugged stone steps and alpine ridges, reflecting the ancient routes once traversed by local herders and traders. Return to High Camp and descending through the cloud forests and rhododendron-covered slopes to Low Camp (2970m), where we rest for the night, surrounded by the tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness.

Day 7: Low Camp (2970m) to Sidhing to Pokhara (Trekking time 4-5 Hours, Driving time 2 Hours)
The final day of trekking takes us on a steep downhill path to Sidhing, a traditional village that offers an authentic glimpse into local Gurung and Magar culture. The trail passes through terraced fields, lush forests, and small settlements, marking the transition from alpine landscapes to subtropical valleys. After lunch in Sidhing, we take a scenic drive back to Pokhara, marking the end of our trekking journey.
