| Special Information: | Please note that during the rainy season (typically between July and September), the trekking conditions are more challenging due to muddy trails. Also, parts of some treehouses may occasionally get wet and time spent in the canopy will be shorter than in the dry season as a result of longer walks. To make the most of your experience, we suggest that you bring a head torch, walking shoes, mosquito repellent, binoculars, and a raincoat (in the rainy season) Please be aware that participants must not exceed the maximum weight limit of 100 kg. |

Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Khong!
Welcome to Chiang Khong! Whether you're arriving at Chiang Khong, we'll be waiting to accompany you to your new home at Day Waterfront Hotel.

Transportation: Chiang Khong to Chiang Khing by Car or Van
Day 2: Chiang Khong to Huay Xai
Enjoy an early breakfast and then meet your driver in the lobby for a quick trip to the border crossing between Thailand and Laos. Once you've cleared Thai immigration, you'll board a bus to cross the bridge over the Mekong to reach Laos immigration. Note that there is a small fee for the bus at your own expense. Once you've cleared Laos immigration, the driver will be waiting for you and will transfer you to your new home at Riverside Houayxay Hotel

Day 3: Gibbon Experience and Tree House
Please arrive at the Gibbon Experience Office by 08:00 AM at the latest to check in and attend the safety briefing before departing for the forest.
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive to the village, followed by a trek through the lush forest towards your tree house. The hike takes approximately two hours and includes some reasonably hilly sections. Along the way, keep your eyes and ears open for the diverse wildlife that inhabits the forest, including birds, insects, mammals, and, if you're lucky, gibbons.
Upon reaching your tree house in the afternoon, take some time to relax and enjoy the spectacular surroundings. You can also join an optional hike and experience the famous zipline network to explore another tree house in the area and increase your chances of spotting gibbons.
As evening approaches, dinner will be delivered to your tree house. Enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by the sounds of the forest and the opportunity to experience life high among the trees.

Day 4: Gibbon Experience and Forest Exploration
Wake up early and listen carefully to the distinctive songs of gibbons echoing through the forest. Enjoy tea or coffee before breakfast and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the jungle.
After breakfast, continue exploring the forest with an optional morning hike and ziplining adventure. Visit another tree house and discover more of the surrounding mountain landscape while keeping watch for gibbons and other wildlife.
Return to your tree house around midday for lunch and some relaxing time. In the afternoon, you can choose to continue exploring with another hike and ziplining experience or simply enjoy the tranquility of your tree house.
Dinner will be delivered in the evening, leaving you free to relax and enjoy another unforgettable night in the forest.

Wake up early for one final opportunity to hear the gibbons singing in the forest before enjoying breakfast at the tree house.

Enjoy lunch along the way before continuing the journey back to the Gibbon Experience Office in Huay Xai, arriving in the afternoon depending on seasonal conditions and back to Riverside Houayxay Hotel.
