Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Varanasi
Make your way to Delhi Railway Station and board the overnight train to Varanasi.

Transportation: Overnight sleeper train from Delhi to Varanasi

Day 2: Varanasi
In the morning arrive at Varanasi railway station, where the driver will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon will leave for a temple tour of Varanasi where you will visit Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple, and Tulsi Manas Temple. After attending the evening Aarti (worship) at river Ganges and visiting the the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, we return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Varanasi

In the early morning get a boat ride and float past the ghats and then after breakfast cover the excursion trip for Sarnath temple. Sarnath where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park contains the most impressive remains, as well as a modem temple. The Dharmarajika, Chaukhandi and Dharnek stupas are outstanding. There are also the remains of a monastery, and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Sarnath contains a rich library and at the Mula gandha Kutir Vihara there are excellent frescoes by Kosetsu Nosu.

The Sarnath Museum, not far from the site, contains some of the finest specimens of Buddhist sculpture. The illustrious Mantra, 'Buddham Sharanam Gachhami', owes its foundation to Sarnath. Besides Buddhism, it is also linked with Jainism. There is also a vast expanse of prehistoric ruins at Sarnath. Several Buddhist structures were raised at Sarnath between the 3rd century BC and the 11th century AD. The Ashoka pillar of Sarnath is the National emblem of India.

Ramnagar Fort :The Ramnagar fort is 14 kms away from Varanasi and sited on the contradictory bank of river Ganga, built by Maharaja Balwant Singh. Drive back to Varanasi, and over night at hotel.

Day 4: Varanasi to Delhi
Check out from hotel and spend the day at your leisure. Later proceed to the railway station where our representative will take you to your train for onward journey.

Day 5: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Railway Station in the morning and proceed to your next destination on own.
