Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar/Rishikesh
Today, you will start your trip from Visit beyond service office at 10:00 a.m. and drive to Haridwar and have a look at the holy town situated at the banks of the river Ganges. The main focus is along the Ganga and on the bathing ghats. Har-ki-Pauri is the main ghat, with bridges and walkways connecting smaller islands in the river. The modern Bharat Mata Temple is an eight-storeyed edifice 5 kms north of the centre. The temple dedicated to ‘Mother India’ has images of important historical figures and Hindu deities. After attending evening Aarti, drive to Rishikesh. Night stay at a budget hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 2 & Day 3: Rishikesh
Today after breakfast, we have an introductory meeting with the rafting guide. On Day 2 and 3, you will be having half-day rafting trips. Each day, after breakfast, you will be driven to the rafting departure point. Afternoons are mostly floats past the temples, ashrams and ghats. There will also be a combination of river walks and beach games (depending on the number of people in the camp). We watch the religious ceremony at the Triveni ghat. Overnight at Camp.

Day 4: Rishikesh departure
After breakfast, you will check out the local sights in Rishikesh. Walk to Lakshman Jhula, a swing bridge, where you can cross over and take a walk through the lovely forest to arrive at Ram Jhula. The area is lined with beautiful temples, ashram, and small shops selling trinket items. After lunch, drive back to Delhi or continue to Uttrakhand to join our ongoing treks.
