Day 1: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and upon arrival you will be meet and assist by our representative and later transferred to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi – City Tour
After breakfast get an information meeting at Visit beyond Service office, followed by city tour of Delhi. You will see India Gate and the Presidential Palace. You will also see the Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat and Gandhi Museum and Jama Masjid. Later, we drive past the Red fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi – Nainital (6-7 hours approx)
Today you will start early for the drive to Nainital and check into our hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 4: Nainital
The day is free to explore the Naini Lake. (You can hire a boat for a few hours or trek up to the Naini Peak – the highest point in Nainital). It gets very cold in Naintal from Nov to March as its a hilltown.
Day 5: Nainital – Corbett (2 hrs approx)
Today you start easy for the drive to Corbett National Park. You arrive at our resort and rest of the day is at our leisure. You may participate in the in-house activities at the hotel/resort.
Day 6: Corbett National Park
Early morning get picked up at your resort by a jeep and enter the national park. There are three distinct seasons in Corbett: cold from Nov to Feb, hot from March to June, and rainy from July to Oct. Corbett is a known haven for tigers, largely owing to the success of WWF-funded Project Tiger that was launched on 1st April 1973. Other animals which add to its attraction are include leopards, jungle cats, fishing cats, the Himalayan black bear, dhole, yellow-throated morten, elephant, porcupine, chital, and barking deer. Some of the birds commonly seen here are osprey, crested serpent eagle, black-winged kite, shikra, Pallas's fishing eagle, spotted eagle, minivets, shrikes, and babblers. The Gharials, descendants of the prehistoric reptiles, have made the park their home. The Indian python, viper, cobra, krait and king cobra, the largest of the poisonous snakes, also inhabit Corbett. Evening at leisure, overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Corbett National Park – Rishikesh (5-6 hours approx)
After breakfast, you will drive to Rishikesh. Later, visit the Triveni ghat (river bank) to watch the evening Aarti, or prayer, offered to the Ganges. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Rishikesh
After breakfast, you will drive to the Laxman Jhula (the swing bridge), walk through the maze of temples, ashrams etc and cross back on the right bank at Ram Jhula. Optional: have lunch at the famous Chotiwala dhaba. (Please remember that Haridwar and Rishikesh are holy pilgrimages, therefore, you cannot get meat products here). In the afternoon, you will drive to Haridwar and visit Har-Ki-Puri, the confluence where thousands of Hindu pilgrims come to wash away their sins! Watch the interesting Ganga Aarti – literally, worshipping of the Ganges. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Rishikesh – Delhi (6-7 hours approx)
After breakfast, you will drive back to Delhi and transfer to your hotel.
Day 10: Delhi
Today you will check out from your hotel in Delhi and proceed to your next destination.
