We then continue to Kuiburi National Park for some wildlife spotting (about an hour's drive.) The park is home to one of the biggest populations of gaurs in all of Thailand, with an estimated 100 individuals and around 320 wild elephants.

The wildlife watching area is open from 14:00 until 18:00. Visitors are recommended to visit the area in the late afternoon as there won't be much wildlife activity in the early hours as the wildlife gradually becomes more active from around 15:30 pm onward.
