Day 1: Hanoi to Ba Be National Park
Depart your hotel at 08:00 AM by either private van or minibus and drive to Ba Be National Park. On the way, we'll stop in Thai Nguyen city to visit the Museum of the Culture - the second largest museum in Vietnam for ethnic minorities. 

We'll continue driving to Ba Be National Park heading Tay Village where we'll spend the night with a local family. The village is overlooking Ba Be Lake and you can get close to local life in the countryside.

Day 2: Ba Be Lake
After your breakfast, we'll do a 4-hour boat trip on Ba Be Lake. We'll stop at Dau Dang waterfall and the impressive giant Poong grotto with hundreds of bats. Your lunch is served at Ba Be Lake in Tay village.

After enjoy your meal, we'll go visit the National Park with a spectacular waterfall, rivers, deep valleys, natural caves and small lakes surrounded by steep mountains up to 1,745 meters high. If you'd like, you'll have the option to do a short guided trek to one of the small Tay villages that scattered around Ba Be Lake.

Day 3: Ba Be Lake to Ban Gioc Waterfall to Cao Bang
At 07:00 AM we'll drive to the largest waterfall in Vietnam "Ban Gioc". The waterfall is separated into three falls by rocks and trees. The water falls 30 meters and as the it hits the cliffs, you'll hear its sound from hundreds of meters away. At the foot of the waterfall lies a large river as a calm contrast to the flushing falls. You'll see many precious flowers and the scenery will surely captivates you. During the visit, you'll also have time to go see the beautiful Nguom Ngao Cave or “Tiger’s Cave”. The cave stalactites of various shapes and sizes, the grotto is famous for its uniqueness, size and wild beauty. 

You'll be transferred and dropped off at your hotel in Cao Bang after exploring the waterfalls and caves in Ba Be Lake area.

Day 4: Cao Bang to Lang Son to Hanoi
At 8:00 AM, we'll drive through the remote countryside to where your lunch is served "Lang Son" the border town. You'll visit the beautiful caves where one holds a pagoda inside and also the town's market with local products and Chinese woodwork. 

After all the visits, we'll head to Hanoi Old Quarter and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 5: Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll be picked up from the hotel between 08:00 - 08:40 AM and slowly leave to Halong Bay. You’ll enjoy the peaceful scenery as we drive through the countryside and admire the endless rows of rice paddies.
By noon we’ll arrive at Tuan Chau harbor, board our boat, relax and enjoy the on-board lunch as we cruise along Halong Bay. 

We'll head to Titop or Soi Sim Beach to swim, relax or take pictures. If time permits, we can go for kayak or explore the Ho Dong Tien (Fairy Lake Cave) or the Sung Sot (Surprising Cave). We’ll then return to the boat and learn how to make spring rolls.
As evening falls, we’ll enjoy dinner on the boat and relax or party with the on-board karaoke, squid fishing or just knock back a few drinks on the sundeck.

Day 6: Halong Bay to Cat Ba Island
Rise early to enjoy the sunrise before breakfast is served. We’ll be cruising and enjoy the view over Halong Bay beauty.

Around late morning, we'll arrive Gia Luan Pier to take another transfer by bus to Catba Town where you will be dropped off at your hotel to check-in and get ready for more activities for this afternoon.

Before afternoon, you'll head to Beo harbor by bus and board to the boat to continue to Lan Ha Bay. Your lunch is served on the boat. Once we arrived at Van Boi area, you can go for swim, high jump and kayak. If time permits, we'll also go visit the Monkey Island.

By late afternoon, you’ll get off the boat and take the bus back to your hotel in Cat Ba. Dinner is served at the restaurant of your hotel and the rest of the night is left free for you to enjoy exploring town or just relaxing at your hotel.

Day 7: Cat Ba Island to Halong Bay and to Hanoi
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant before checking out from your room. You'll be picked up by bus for your trip to Cat Ba National Park at 08:00 AM, you'll do a 1.5 hour trek at the national park.

By late morning, you'll arrive Gia Luan Pier, board on the boat to enjoy your lunch that is served while cruising along the beautiful Halong Bay.

Once arriving Halong Harbor, you’ll continue with a bus ride to Hanoi and end the trip at your hotel or drop-off points around Hanoi Old Quarter.
