Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
On arrival in Hanoi you'll be picked up and transported to Hanoi's Old Quarter.

Day 2: Hanoi
By 08:30AM, you'll be picked up from your hotel and we'll drive to visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. The final resting place of the Vietnamese great father or uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt House where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. One Pillar Pagoda, a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. We leave One Pillar Pagoda and drive to West Lake to visit Tran Quoc pagoda and have lunch.

After lunch, we'll visit the Temple of literature and the Museum of Ethnology. It is the most interesting museum in Hanoi with many different things relating to the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. You'll also go visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restore Sword Lake) and we'll drop you off in Hanoi's Old Quarter, where you can explore the city and get back to your hotel on your own.

Day 3: Hanoi - Night Train to Sapa
You'll be picked up between 19:30 - 20:00PM from your hotel and transfer to the train station. You'll take the overnight train in soft sleeper class that leaves at 21:10PM to Lao Cai, Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa Minority Trek
You'll arrive Lao Cai Railway Station early in the morning. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up by shared bus to Sapa (35 km - about 1 hour drive) and check-in at your hotel (only if the room is available).

You'll have time on your own to enjoy the view of Fansipan (3,143 m) on the other side of the Sapa valley and explore the market where some of the different ethnic groups come into town to sell their products in the morning.

In the afternoon, we'll walk down to Cat Cat Village through beautiful valley, where it is a home of the Black H’mong people. Black H’mong is one of the biggest and poorest groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture, stick to their traditions and way of living. The Black H'mong has their own language and wear their traditional indigo blue clothing.

Day 5: Sapa Minority Trek
Today, your ride will take you to Taphin village, where you'll experience the customs and life of Red Dao people. The Red Dao women have very colorful red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their heads, they wear deep red scarfs. You'll see some of the women who shaved off their eyebrows, because a hairless face is considered to be very beautiful by the Red Dao.

6: Sapa to Hanoi
You'll have almost a full day in Sapa to explore the town on your own. You need to check-out from the hotel before noon, take the bus to Lao Cai and from Lao Cai, you'll take an overnight train in soft sleeper class back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll arrive Hanoi train station around 05:00AM, relax and stretch your body before we pick you up between 08:00 – 08:40AM. We'll start driving to Halong Bay, enjoy the peaceful scenery as we drive through the countryside and admire the endless rows of rice paddies.
By noon, we’ll arrive at Tuan Chau harbor and board to our boat, you can relax and enjoy the on-board lunch as we cruise along Halong Bay. 

We'll head to Titop or Soi Sim Beach to swim, relax or take pictures. If time permits, we can go for kayak, explore the Ho Dong Tien (Fairy Lake Cave) or the Sung Sot (Surprising Cave). We’ll return to the boat and learn how to make spring rolls.
As evening falls, we’ll enjoy dinner on the boat and relax , party with the on-board karaoke, squid fishing or just knock back a few drinks on the sundeck.

Day 8: Halong Bay to Cat Ba Island
Rise early to see the sunrise before breakfast is served while cruising and enjoying the view over Halong Bay's beauty.

We'll arrive Gia Luan Pier around late morning and take the bus to Catba Town where you'll be dropped off at your hotel to check-in and get ready for more activities for this afternoon.

Before afternoon, we'll take the bus to Beo harbor and the boat to continue our trip to Lan Ha Bay. Your lunch is served on the boat while we head to Van Boi area. You can swim, high jump or kayak and if time permits, we'll also go visit the Monkey Island.

By late afternoon, we’ll take the bus back to your hotel in Cat Ba. Dinner is served at the restaurant of your hotel and the evening is free for you to enjoy.

Day 9: Cat Ba Island to Halong and to Hanoi
Rise early to have breakfast at your hotel before checking out to get ready for your pick-up at 08:00AM by bus to Cat Ba National Park. We'll trek for about 1.5 hour until we reach Gia Luan Pier, we'll board the boat and enjoy your lunch that is served while cruising along Halong Bay.

Around noon, we'll take the bus from the mainland back to Hanoi's Old Quarter. We'll drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter to relax before your pick-up at 21:00PM to the train station. 

You'll take the overnight train in soft sleeper class, which departs at 22:22PM to Hue.

Day 10: Hue
Upon arriving at Hue Railway Station this morning, we'll pick you up and take to your hotel.

You'll have the whole afternoon free to relax or explore the town on your own.
