Off-The-Beaten Path Recommendation

When most people think of trekking in Vietnam, Sapa often comes to mind. But if you're searching for a lesser-known escape, Pu Luong is a true hidden gem. Just 4.5 hours from Hanoi, this peaceful town is surrounded by stunning rice terraces and tranquil waterfalls. What makes Pu Luong even more special is its authenticity—each region’s rice harvest is unique, so visit from February to October and you’ll be treated to lush and vibrant landscapes. For those seeking a genuine experience, where you can meander through quiet villages and immerse yourself in the beauty of untouched nature, Pu Luong offers the perfect retreat.

Favorite Travel Destination

I've traveled near and far, exploring destination after destination, and the place that will always hold a special place in my heart is the charming city of Da Lat. Nestled in Vietnam’s highlands, it’s my favorite escape - especially during the colder months when misty mornings add a magical touch. Da Lat comes alive with a festive, almost romantic, atmosphere in the final months of the year, offering cozy cafés, blooming flower gardens, and bustling night markets. Beyond the charm, it’s a haven for adventure seekers too—think hiking through pine forests, canyoning down waterfalls, and cycling around serene lakes. Every visit feels both refreshing and familiar.
