|Travel Season:||While the park is open from 1 November to 14 May, the most popular time to visit is in December and early January. The least amount of rain, calmest water and clearest evenings are in late February to mid-March. After this, the temperature starts to rise. Please note that there is always a chance of a bit of rain.
The Similan Islands are closed every year from 15 May – 15 October.

Your Similan Snorkelling Liveaboard begins at your hotel in Khao Lak where you will be picked up at approx. 7am and taken to Thuplamu Pier in Khao Lak. Here you will be registered, collect your equipment and receive a briefing before departing for the Similan Islands by speedboat.
Your first stop will be snorkelling in the crystal blue waters of ’Stonehenge’ - a collection of high located north of Koh Miang. Once back on the boat, you will continue to Na Beach on Koh Miang (island no. 4), which is your island home for the night ahead. You will have time to enjoy the beach and explore this beautiful island. It boasts a powdery white sand beach, nature trails, and is also where you find Honeymoon Bay, a great place to see the stunning sunrise and sunset.
At noon, a delicious Thai lunch will be served on the beach after which you will check-in to the National Park and your accommodation at double-decker tour boat " Pansa Queen"
In the early afternoon, your boat will take you to Koh Similan (island no. 8) and Koh Payu (island no. 9). Both offer a plethora of marine life, from spiny lobster and sea fans, to coral reefs and so much more.
Tired from all that fine snorkelling, you will enjoy a delicious dinner buffet on board the boat whilst watching the sunset. After, you will return to Koh Miang (island no. 4) where you will stay overnight.

Wake up around 8am to the gentle sound of the waves lapping and birds singing in the treetops. Your breakfast will be served on board the boat.
Start where you finished yesterday. Your first two stops will be at Koh Payu (island no. 7) and the other side of Koh Miang (island no. 4) where you stayed overnight. At Koh Payu you will experience both hard and soft coral reef, sea fans and schools of colourful fish. It’s a beautiful diving spot great for both shallow and deep water diving.
At noon a delicious Thai lunch will be served on the beach. Afterwards, you will snorkel at Koh Ba Ngu (island no. 9), which is often regarding as the best snorkelling spot for scenes of coral reef and colourful fish, before heading to Koh Similan (island no. 8) where you can relax on the beach or hike to the viewpoint to see astonishing rock formations, including the island’s famous sailing boat shaped rocks.
At night, you will enjoy a dinner buffet on board the boat while the sun slowly sets in the distance. You will return to Koh Miang (island no. 4) where you stay overnight. (B, L, D)

Wake up around 7:30am and enjoy your last morning of remote island life. Enjoy a good breakfast and set sail for new adventures above and below the surface.
Today’s snorkelling will take you to Koh Ha (island no. 5) and Koh Miang (island no. 4) before heading to Koh Hok (island no. 6). Among these islands, you will mostly explore stony and soft corals.
At noon, a delicious Thai lunch will be served on the beach after which you will swap transport to a speed boat. Go snorkelling at Koh Ba Ngu (island no. 9) - famous for its strange skull-shaped rock and a wonderful valley of coral reefs with deep gorges and schools of fish - before heading to Donald Duck Bay at Koh Similan (island no.8). Here you can relax on the beach or hike to the viewpoint to enjoy the rocky scenery above.
In the afternoon (around 3pm) you will depart from the beautiful Similan Islands and head back to life on the mainland. Expect to arrive back at Thuplamu Pier at around 4.30pm where you will be taken by minivan to your hotel in Khao Lak.
